Mosman is a place of history and beauty. It is located about 8 kilometres north-east of the CBD on Sydney’s lower north shore. Also, it is also one of Australia’s premier suburbs, with a perfect view on Sydney Harbour.
Mosman features many stunning bays and beaches. Additionally, it is surrounded by beautiful headlands and sandstone cliffs. Furthermore, the area is home to the world-famous Taronga Zoo – as well as natural bushland areas and foreshore parklands.
THE LOCAL WAY
Mosman locals frequent the boutiques and bistros along Military Road. Chowder Bay is a popular kayaking spot, surrounded by 19th-century buildings and a few waterfront restaurants.
Families head to Taronga Zoo for native wildlife and to Balmoral Beach for swimming and sandcastles. Bungaree’s Walkway is a bushland trail leading to harbour views at Georges Head.
As a destination, Mosman is a great place to sample some unique Sydney heritage. Moreover, it has excellent harbourside swimming and recreation areas, top restaurants, and high-end retail experiences.
Mosman is primarily a residential suburb. At the 2016 census, 51.7% of residents were in flats or apartments and another 35.4% were in separate houses. The houses in Mosman tend to have easier access and parking. However, each move has their own challenges. Since houses in Mosman tend to be bigger, removalists often have to work with high internal stairs and glass surfaces.
Residents tend to have a lot of expensive belongings. Therefore, it would be smart to consider our ladies pre-pack team before the move. They have a lot of experience in wrapping glass items, paintings, furniture, and other goods that need to be moved without any damage.
Flats and apartments are often based in older townhouses. Furthermore, most of the buildings are harder access without modern lifts. Lastly, it might be beneficial to ask for an extra removalist so that everything goes smoother and faster.
